| As I sit here typing away, the weather outside is oh a little bit crazy. Its been snowing since yesterday and I think we have up to 15 inches of snow. Plus counting the snow storm we had on Wednesday. Life is good. My family and I spent a week in Arizona in beautiful weather. We went to Pheonix and the Grand Canyon. My dad wanted to hike to the very bottom of the Caynon but it was highly unlikly considering it takes three days to hike to the bottom and back again. Also the trail that lead to into the Canyon was snow covered so we just hiked along the rim of the Caynon. It was very beautiful. Snow covering the different colored shades of the Caynon was amazing. On our last day in we spent it lounging around our hotel's pool. At the pool there were these luxurious canopy beds scattered around the pool. It was 85 degrees on the last day. When our plane landed in Buffalo, New York the next day, it was -10 degrees. On March 22 I'm invited to attend my two coaches; Matt and Mary's wedding in Detroit Michigan. While I was in Pheonix, I bought a really cute dress that I'm going to wear to their wedding. I just hope it doesn't snow while I'm there. | | |
| Hey Sorry its been so long. I'm still at home living with my family. I decided that I need to take a sabbatical because I've been all over the place the past 5 years. Which is fine but I just need to relax and allow God to work through me on my next adventure. I applied to the same camp that I worked at last summer, Muskoka Woods, as a Ropse Course Instructor. I do work for my dad, doing mainly odd jobs at his medical office. The other day I was the receptionist, very interesting. :) | | |
| Done and completed. I'm officially a college graduate as of today. No more homework, exams, projects, papers, or anything else that involves studying at the last minute. Now its time to look for a job and pay off those college loans. How do I feel about this?
I'm clueless But God knows and I'm excited for this grand new adventure just around the corner. I don't know what that will be but with patience, prayer, and guidance; God will reveal it to me. | | |
| Sorry its been so long since I last updated.... I had a great summer working as a Ropes Course Instructor at Muskoka Woods. It was hard to leave all the great friendships I created this summer. I hope to go back and work in the Spring and Summer. I just finished pre-season for Cross Country at Star Lake. 30 people are on the team, which is amazing. I'm excited to be part of the Leadership team and the Chaplin for 2007. I did trained about 470 miles this summer and now I'm ready to race and break 19:57 and hopefully go 19:35 by AMC's in November. Tomorrow is the first day of my last semester of Houghton. I'm really looking forward to my classes and spending more time with my team than I did last year. The upper classmen decided that instead of just seeing each other at practices and race days that we should be there for the freshmen daily. As a Chaplin I want to send out bible verses daily so we're on the same page in our spiritual lives. | | |
| I've graduated, well semi-graduated from Houghton College with one more semester left. I'm leaving for Honduras today I have most of my grades from this past semester, almost all A's I started training for Cross Country season...already 12 miles as of today. My internship/job starts on June 22 God is good | | |
